I believe this is an extraction of the seerah portion from Ibn Kathir’s Bidayah wan Nihayah. Compiled in the fourteenth century by a prominent Syrian scholar, this 4 Volume Set, translated in English, is a full examination, in chronological order, of the background, life and mission of the Prophet Muhammad. This book is great for those who want to read a classical work or who want to catch some extra details not found in modern seerah books.

Man and Prophet are probably a better choice. Books by Ibn Kathir. If your goal is simply to understand the seerah, more recent works like Ar-Raheeq al-Makhtum or In the Footsteps of the Prophet or Muhammad: Greatest Man Ever Born.
