Wolves on the Border Kindle Edition. No force from the Inner Sphere has faced them and won. Worse, I often just didn’t care about the characters at all. It’s a pretty good story as well. Following the many characters and following the development between in the inner sphere. The action is great, storyline is rich and intriguing, character development and descriptions are also great. Lots of telling rather than showing, particularly of characters’ feelings.
Yea, OK, so I’m not all that well read. Still a great read I first read this book over 25 years ago. All you would need is marines to take the ground. That’s not the case with this bad boy. I’m not a particular fan of big, stompy, bots but I got a good feel for what the combat and piloting them must be like. Lo que nos cuenta.
So, I wouldn’t recommend this if you haven’t read the previous trilogy, but if you have and liked it, then if you pick this up, know that it gets better than the first pages would lead you to believe. I listened to the Audiobook over on Audible. This book is different. If you like Battletech, this book is readable.

Preview — Lethal Heritage by Michael A. Chi ama i libri sceglie Kobo e inMondadori. Knowing the lore from playing the board game and video games as ehritage kid I didn’t miss out on much. Extremely well done, Stackpole submerges you into the Battletech universe once again but this time with the frightening new enemy known as the Clans. There is a lot of action happening on a lot of fronts, the chapters going back and forth but Stackpole did a good job at making the action integrate seemless.
The invasion of the clans in the kedensky designed battletech universe. I especially like the way Stackpole writes and describes ‘Mech combat. This audiobook can be listened to on: They still hold up. Blood of Kerensky is one of the best written and greatest glood in the entire BattleTech series.

These novelettes were absolutely entertaining, but they weren’t what I would call well written. Product details File Size: Some of the finest warriors and ablest units have challenged them and failed. I especially like the way Herirage writes and describes ‘Mech combat. Customers who bought this item also bought. They were ok at best. There was a time in my life when I read all of those books, and enjoyed a great many of them, but Keernsky never felt a compelling need to swim in those waters again.

The Innersphear is a totally believable thing. I finally figured out who is who toward the end of the book. Everything feels so real and lifelike, even the deadly clans seem to have a real lifelike driving force. Then he spends the rest of the book whining about it.
